Meet Coach Arnold
I’m Arnold Chaban. At this point in my life, I’ve come to recognize a deep appreciation for people — for the paths they’ve taken, the growth they’re reaching for, and the possibilities that can unfold when they feel supported and seen. My professional path has offered me a deep and diverse set of business experiences, and in recent years I’ve invested in formal coaching training to bring that experience into a new stage of practice and service. Married and living in Western Massachusetts, I presently focus on translating the lessons, perspectives, and resilience shaped over a lifetime into my work as an Executive Coach.

As an Executive Coach, I am dedicated to helping leaders grow, lead with clarity, and thrive in the complexity of executive life. With decades of experience living across cultures, systems, and transitions, I bring a rare blend of wisdom, adaptability, and deep presence to my work.
My journey to coaching has been anything but linear — it was lived, felt, and earned. I was born and raised in the Soviet Union, a society shaped by scarcity, war trauma, and collective hardship. As an immigrant to the United States since 1977, I experienced life through the eyes of both an outsider and an insider, gaining a unique perspective on how people adapt, lead, and evolve within complex environments.

Throughout my life, I have been a keen observer of human behavior — in families, organizations, and across cultures. I have always been curious about what enables people to thrive and what keeps them stuck. Over the past four decades, I have invested deeply in my own healing and growth, including years of exploring personal and inter-generational trauma. This journey led me to obtain formal training and certification in Trauma-Informed Coaching, an approach that blends self-awareness with practical, forward-moving support.

I work with leaders who are interested in understanding themselves more deeply and expanding how they show up. They understand that leadership is not only about results, but also about responsibility, relationships, and the ability to shape a healthy, effective culture. In our work together, we explore challenges, uncover hidden dynamics, and co-create meaningful, actionable strategies for leadership and life.
